Common phrases used as part of Foods and Drinks - Part 2

Let us continue our learning part 2 as part of the common phrases that one commonly used as part of the conversation of the food and drinks in the situational series that we have brought up.

English: Would you like to have whisky?
Tamil: Neenga whisky kudikuringala?
Telugu: Meeru whisky thaaguthaara?

English: No sir, I will drink beer only.
Tamil: Illa sir, naa beer mattum thaan kudipen.
Telugu: Ledhu sir, nenu beer maathuram thaaguthaanu.

English: Give me a little more water.
Tamil: Konjam adhigama(more) thanni kudunga.
Telugu: Koncham yekkuva(more) neellu ivvandi.

English: I am a vegetarian, I cannot eat a non-vegetarian dish.
Tamil: Naa vegetarian, naanu non-vegetarian saapudamaaten.
Telugu: Nenu vegetarian, nenu non-vegetarian thinanu.

English: Food has been served.
Tamil: Saapaaduku parimaariyaachu.
Telugu: Bhojanam andhajeyadam ayyindhi.

English: The food is very tasty.
Tamil: Saapaadu romba rusiya iruku.
Telugu: Bhojanam chaala ruchikaranga undhi.

English: You have eaten very little.
Tamil: Neenga romba kammiya saaptirukinga.
Telugu: Meeru chaala thakkuva thinnaaru.

English: Please give me some rice.
Tamil: Konjam saadham (rice) kudunga.
Telugu: Koncham annum (rice) ivvandi.

English: I have to go to a party.
Tamil: Naanu oru party ku poganum.
Telugu: Nenu okka party ki vellali.

English: Please bring some milk.
Tamil: Konjam paal (milk) kudunga.
Telugu: Koncham paalu (milk) ivvandi.

English: Please put only a little sugar in the milk.
Tamil: Konjam kammiya chakkaraya (sugar) paal la podunga.
Telugu: Koncham thakkuva chakkara paalulo veyandi.

English: Please have this soft drink.
Tamil: Konjam soft drink ah kudinga.
Telugu: Koncham soft drink ni thaagandi.

English: Please have this sweet.
Tamil: Konjam sweet saapudunga.
Telugu: Koncham sweet thinnadi.

English: Have a little more.
Tamil: Innu konjam eduthukukonga.
Telugu: Inka koncham theeskondi.

English: Bring a cup of tea.
Tamil: Oru cup tea eduthutu vaanga.
Telugu: Okka cup tea theeskonni raandi.

English: I don't like tea.
Tamil: Enaku tea pudikaathu.
Telugu: Naaku tea istamledhu.

English: She likes dosa.
Tamil: Avaluku dosa pudikum.
Telugu: Aamaki dosa istamu.

English: He likes biryani.
Tamil: Avanaku biryani pudikum.
Telugu: Aainiki biryani istamu,

English: Thanks, I am fully satisfied.
Tamil: Nanri (Thanks), naa romba thrupthiya saapten.
Telugu: Dhanyavaadham (Thanks), nenu chaala santripti tho thinnanu.

English: Please give me the bill.
Tamil: Konjam bill kondu vaanga.
Telugu: Koncham bill theeskonni raandi.

English: Is the service charge added?
Tamil: Service charge add pannirukingala?
Telugu: Service charge add chesara?

English: No sir, that is extra.
Tamil: Illa sir, adhu extra.
Telugu: Ledhu sir, adhi extra.

English: Please tell me where is hand wash.
Tamil: Konjam hand wash enga irukunu sollunga.
Telugu: Koncham hand wash ekkada undhi cheppandi.

English: Please go straight and go left, handwash is there.
Tamil: Konjam nera (straight) ponga apuram left la ponga, handwash anga iruku.
Telugu: Koncham neruga (straight) velandi tharavatha left lo vellandi, handwash akkada undhi.
